"Jesus said to him, 'Have I been with you so long, and yet you have not known Me, Philip? He who has seen Me has seen the Father; so how can you say, 'Show us the Father'? ' " - John 14:9 "He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation." - Colossians 1:15 The Lord Jesus Christ is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. No one has ever seen God at any time, and the only way we behold the Father is through the Son. He is the visible, incarnate manifestation of the God whom no eye has seen. Thus, He is rightly called Immanuel - “God with us.” The eternal Word became flesh and dwelt among us. The disciples beheld His glory, the glory of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth. In Christ we see the radiance of God’s glory and the exact imprint of His nature. To see Him is to see the Father. Praise the Lord!
