"For a day in Your courts is better than a thousand. I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than dwell in the tents of wickedness." - Psalm 84:10 "For I am hard pressed between the two, having a desire to depart and be with Christ, which is far better. " - Philippians 1:23 The moment we breathe our last on earth, the very next moment we will be in the presence of Christ. This is the blessed hope of every believer who has trusted in the Lord Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. In His presence there will be indescribable peace, overflowing joy, and the fullness of life we have longed for. Yet while we remain here in this world, our mission field, we have a holy calling. Each of us has a duty to serve the Lord faithfully and to proclaim Christ and His Gospel to a lost and dying world. Our future with Christ is secure, but our present assignment is urgent. As we look forward to that glorious reunion in His presence, let us be steadfast and faithful to Him here on earth, laboring with love, courage, and devotion until He calls us home. Praise the Lord for the hope we have in Christ. Praise the Lord!
