"Now if Christ is preached that He has been raised from the dead, how do some among you say that there is no resurrection of the dead?" - 1 Corinthians 15:12 "And when I saw Him, I fell at His feet as dead. But He laid His right hand on me, saying to me, ' Do not be afraid; I am the First and the Last. I am He who lives, and was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore. Amen. And I have the keys of Hades and of Death.' " - Revelation 1:17 Many, even today, question the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. In the Corinthian church, false teachers had crept in and began deceiving believers with doctrines born of Satan. In response, the apostle Paul reminded the church of the truth he had delivered to them from the beginning: Christ is risen indeed. If Christ had not risen from the dead, Christianity would have collapsed at its foundation. But He did rise—bodily, gloriously, and victoriously. He appeared to His disciples, and then to more than five hundred brothers and sisters at once before ascending into heaven. The apostle John later saw the risen Lord in His glory and fell at His feet as though dead. Our Savior is not a memory or a legend, He is the living Lord, alive forevermore. Unlike the so‑called great men of history who lived and died and remain in their graves, the tomb of Jesus is empty. He is our Lord and Savior, the King of kings and Lord of lords. Praise the Lord!
