"And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also." - John 14:3
King David possessed the same trust and hope that belongs to every believer in the Lord Jesus Christ, both in ages past and in our own day. We share the same blessed confidence that one day we will dwell in the house of the LORD forever. On the night of the Last Supper, as Jesus gathered with His disciples in the upper room before His suffering, He gave them a precious promise: He would come again and receive all who believe in Him to Himself, bringing us to the place He is preparing. O what a glorious and joyful day it will be when we stand in His holy presence, gathered to our Lord forever. Amen! Even so, Come Lord Jesus!
