| "Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stands in the path of sinners, nor sits in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the LORD, and in His law he meditates day and night." - Psalm 1:1,2
"Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded." - James 4:8
As the new year has begun, many will create new year's resolution(s) to better manage health or finances. But study has shown that not many keep up with the promises they make for too long. If a child of God fails to draw near to God and continues to meditate in the word of God, there will be very less or no spiritual growth and fruit. Blessed in the man who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly but draws near to God by meditating in His words day and night. The secret of successful life is to walk in the will of God and let Him guide us in all our decisions and life journeys.
Let us make a firm decision this year to draw near to God, and to glorify Him in all things.
