| "Who can say, 'I have made my heart clean, I am pure from my sin'? " - Proverbs 20:9
" 'Come now, and let us reason together,' says the LORD. 'Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall be as wool.' " - Isaiah 1:18
Who can say, 'I am pure from my sin'? Well, by human efforts there is none who can say or claim that. Everyone is born with the sin nature, and it doesn't stop there. Until we die, this sin nature in us wants us to sin and go contrary to the will of God. But praise be to God for our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ who overcame sin and death. He gives us grace and strength to overcome temptation. Our Lord through His sacrifice has cleansed us from all our sin. Our sins which are like scarlet have been forgiven. The blood of Christ cleanses us from all unrighteousness.
Praise the Lord!
