Be still and know that I am God

"I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. You shall have no other gods before Me.." - Exodus 20:2,3 "Be still and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth! " - Psalm 46:10 The Lord our God is one, and there is only one God. He is the creator of the heavens and earth, and all that is in it. He created all things for His glory. This is an important and core doctrine of the Christian faith. Because of it's importance, this is the first commandment that God gave to the children of Israel. Our God can be known to those who seek Him diligently. He is near to those who have faith in Him and trust in Him. Be still and know the true and living God. His name is exalted above all names! Praise the Lord!
