| "For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age, looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ." - Titus 2:11-13
"Beloved, now we are the children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is. And everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself, just as He is pure." - 1 John 3:2,3
Though no one knows when Christ would return, but let's say Christ were to return in the next 24 hours, how would it change our living? It is obvious that believers in Christ will be all excited and will do everything to stay prepared for His return. We want to be at our best when our Lord appears, which will be our natural instinct. Though we do not know the time of our Lord's return, we ought to live anticipating His return any time. Denying ungodliness, and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in this present age. Always looking forward to the blessed hope and purifying ourselves as the Holy Spirit sanctifies us in the image of our Savior. Let us live with an attitude and hope of our Lord's return every day.
