| "Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God." - Matthew 5:8
"Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is. And everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself, just as He is pure." - 1 John 3:2-3
Only the pure in heart shall see God. But who is pure? Everyone of us have fallen short of the glory of God. No one is saved by one's own righteousness. But Christ solved the impossible by taking on our sin and nailing it to the cross and He offers us His righteousness. We are now the children of God and we now stand righteous before God. We shall see our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ in all His glory and thus the beatitude will be fulfilled: Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.
