"Do not fret because of evildoers, nor be envious of the workers of iniquity. For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, and wither as the green herb. Trust in the Lord, and do good; dwell in the land, and feed on His faithfulness." - Psalm 37:1-3 "Then God said to Jonah, 'Is it right for you to be angry about the plant?' " - Jonah 4:9 In our sinfulness we often fret and complain about the prosperity of non-believers rather than counting our own blessings. We should look at things from an eternal perspective because life on earth is short and eternity has no end. Jonah was angry with God because God had mercy on the Ninevites. God had mercy on Jonah and saved him from the belly of the fish. Instead of looking at God's mercy on him, Jonah was focused on God's mercy on the Ninevites. Are we not like Jonah sometimes? Trust in the Lord and feed on His faithfulness. Let's Count blessings and give praise to God. Praise the Lord!
