| "But when he [Peter] saw that the wind was boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink he cried out, sating, 'Lord, save me!' " - Matthew 14:30
"looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith..." - Hebrew 12:2
We are often like Peter. We take our eyes off of Jesus and immediately we sink in the storm that surrounds us. Christian life is walk by faith by looking unto Jesus, for He is the author and perfecter of our faith. He has overcome the world and when we walk by faith and keep our eyes on Him, we will also overcome the storms that surround us.
The key is to not take our eyes off of Jesus. But even when we do, our Lord is faithful to save us.
