King David knew exactly where to go for help when he was surrounded by trouble. He took his requests to God with a humble heart and he poured out all his needs before God. He praised God even in his distress. Hence God calls David as a man after His own heart. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much. Do not underestimate the power of fervent prayer. Let's go before the Lord our God like king David did.
