"Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise and extol and honor the King of heaven, all of whose works are truth, and His ways justice. And those who walk in pride He is able to put down." - Daniel 4:37
One of the biggest hinderance for we believers as we serve the Lord is human pride. We desire to be treated well even as we share the gospel. But we know that being the followers of Christ we are enemies of the world. We can see from one of the mightiest kings that ever lived, king Nebuchadnezzar, who was humbled by God and at the end he acknowledged the power and majesty of God. Let's pray to God to make us like Jesus who reviled not when He was mocked and beaten, but He humbly bore our sins even as He cried, "It is finished".
