"I am poured out like water, and all My bones are out of joint; My heart is like wax; it has melted within Me. My strength is dried up like a potsherd, and My tongue clings to My jaws; You have brought Me to the dust of death." - Psalm 22:14-15 "Surely He has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows; yet we esteem Him stricken, smitten by God, and afflicted." - Isaiah 53:4 The suffering and death of our Lord was foretold by the prophets several hundred years before the coming of our Lord. Even the very nature of His death and the extent of His suffering are all recorded and our Lord knowing all these things willingly embraced the will of the Father and died for us. The pain He bore and His suffering is something we cannot fathom. Yet our suffering Saviour bore the cross and stayed there for you and me. This passion week of our Lord let's remember the sufferings of our Lord and thank Him for all that He has done for us. Teach us O Lord to love you the way you have loved us! Praise the Lord!
