"And looking at Jesus as He walked, he [John the Baptist] said, 'Behold the Lamb of God!' " - John 1:36 "Then Jesus came out, wearing the crown of thorns and the purple robe. And Pilate said to them, 'Behold the Man!' " - John 19:5 There are two presentations of Jesus in the Gospel according to John. In the beginning of the book we see John the Baptist presenting Jesus as the Lamb of God. Toward the end of the book we see Pilate presenting Jesus to the crowd that's wanting to crucify Jesus, and he presented Jesus as the king of the Jews, mainly as a mockery hoping people would spare Jesus. Even today we find two responses from the world about Jesus: 1. Accept Him as Lord and Saviour 2. Reject Him. Every man will make one of the two decision before leaving this life. Those who receive Christ will receive life eternal. But those who reject Him will be lost for eternity. The invitation to receive Christ is open to every person. Do not reject Him for He is the only way to eternal life. Praise the Lord!
