"And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth." - John 1:14 "For in Him [Jesus Christ] dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily." - Colossians 2:9 Even the very thought of God taking the form of flesh is unfathomable and something too profound for us to understand. But that's exactly what happened when our Lord took the form of flesh and became man. He left His heavenly abode and kept His glory aside to live on earth for one purpose: to redeem His people from the jaws of sin and death. God took this step because the situation is so dire and condition of man is so pathetic that we would all otherwise perish in our sins. Hence the angels rejoiced at the birth of Christ because God is providing an excellent solution and a way of escape to helpless mankind. Let's give thanks to God for His indescribable gift. Praise the Lord!
