| "Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a Son, and shall call His name Immanuel." - Isaiah 7:14
"Behold, I [Jesus Christ] stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me." - Revelation 3:30
The only way to solve the sin problem was for God to intervene and pay the price Himself. During Christmas we recite the prophecy of prophet Isaiah where we see that God will come to dwell with man, and He will take the form of flesh and shall be called Immanuel (which means, God with us). Jesus Christ fulfilled this prophecy and He paid the price for the sins of His people. Today He invites everyone to open their heart to let Him in. Those who hear the voice of His knocking and invite Him in as Lord and Saviour, to him the Saviour will give eternal life and will dwell with Him forever. Even the created universe cannot contain our God and yet He has chosen to dwell within man's heart. Have you invited the Lord Jesus Christ into your heart? Don't keep Him waiting outside if you hear His knocking on your heart.
