"...Jesus said to Simon Peter, "Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me more than these?" " - John 21:15

"In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins. Beloved, if God loved is, we also ought to love one another." -  1 John 4:10, 11

If Lord Jesus were to ask you and me the same question He asked Simon Peter, what would be our response to the Lord? Can we claim that we love our Lord above all other things in this world. For a true Christian the answer would be "Yes, Lord". Simon Peter denied the Lord three times and the Lord required him to acknowledge his love toward Him three times. God loved us to the extent that He became flesh and died for our sins. He displayed the highest level of love for we who really do not deserve. Ought not we to love our Lord, who alone is worthy, with all our heart?
Praise the Lord!
