"Then David said to the Philistine, "You come to me with a sword, with a spear, and with a javelin. But I come to you in the name of the Lord of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied."  - 1 Samuel 17:45

"But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him." - Hebrews 11:6

In life we face many giants, and facing giants in the name of the Lord requires faith. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places (Ephesians 6:12). It takes faith in the living God to face giants. David faced Goliath with a sling but his faith had giant strength that allowed him to subdue Goliath the giant. Which giant are you facing today? Use God's strength and shield and let Him fight your battle. Have faith in God.
