"Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. Draw near to God and Je will draw near to you..." - James 4:7-8

"Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Resist him, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are experienced by your brotherhood in the world." - 1 Peter 5:8-9

While we are in the fallen world, all believers in Christ will be constantly bombarded by the fiery darts of the devil. He is seeking whom he may devour because He hates our Lord and His church. We have the best defense when we are vigilant and equipped with the word of God. Defend yourself with the whole armor of God and be ready with the word of God when the devil attacks. Often times, we as sheep gone astray, go knocking at the devil's door only to get trapped in his wicked scheme. Immerse in the word of God for that is our best defense against the wicked one. Remember, we have our Lord on our side and He is greater than the devil.
