"But as for me, my prayer is to You, O Lord, in the acceptable time; O God, in the multitude of Your mercy, hear me in the truth of Your salvation." - Psalm 69:13

"Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much." - James 5:16

Prayer is a very powerful tool the children of God possess. Imagine you can speak with the God of the universe anytime, from anywhere, and the ear of God is inclined toward the prayer of His children. What a privilege it is to take all our needs to God knowing that God is hearing our prayers. Those who do not know Jesus as their Lord and Saviour, they cannot pray to God because it is only through Jesus we can make our needs mentioned to God. As believers we  are righteous in the sight of God, and our prayer avails much. O what a privilege to carry all our request to God!
