"...I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life." - John 8:12 "...If you were blind, you would have no sin; but now you say, 'We see.' Therefore your sin remains." - John 9:41 Christ is the light of the world. Without Him we live in darkness. Spiritual darkness is more dangerous than physically being blind. This is because when one is physically blind the person knows that he is blind. But in case of spiritual blindness one's self righteousness makes him think that he can see but the opposite is true. These are the words of Jesus when he spoke to the Pharisees. One way to be sure to know we are in the light is to trust Christ and follow Him. Praise God! "And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work." - Jesus Christ Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus! |
