"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me'. " - John 14:6 "Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved." - Acts 4:12 The claim of Jesus about being the only way to the Father is both exclusive and absolute. This claim clearly rules out any possibility of someone entering heaven by their own merit or status. For this reason many will not make it to the Father. The profound work of Christ on the cross opens the door of heaven to every sinner who will repent and turn to Christ. The road to the kingdom is narrow and only those who trust in Christ will make it. Praise God! "And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work." - Jesus Christ Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus! |
