"But he who received seed on the good ground is he who hears the word and understands it, who indeed bears fruit and produces: come a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty." - Matthew 13:23

"Therefore many of His disciples when they heard this, said, "This is a hard saying: who can understand it?" " - John 6:60

Many find the message of the Gospel too good to be true or too hard to understand, and as a result they reject it. The parable of the sower and seed displays the different nature of human heart when it comes to preaching and receiving the Gospel. Even some of the disciples of Jesus when they heard Him speak of Himself as the Bread of life and the importance of feeding on His Body and drinking His blood in a symbolic sense, it was hard for them to understand and they rejected Him and walked with Him no more. The Gospel message is powerful to save soul from hell and at the same time it keeps the wrong crowd away because they find it hard to believe. But those who believe it unites and bonds them together into one body of Christ.
Praise the Lord!

"And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work." - Jesus Christ

Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus!
