"These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation, but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world." - John 16 V33

"So they departed from the presence of the council, rejoicing that they were counted worthy to suffer shame for His name." - Acts 5 V41

The early church suffered many tribulations and persecutions but they remained strong in their faith in Christ. More the persecution the stronger the church emerged. The reason for their strong faith was the risen Saviour whom they touched and felt and ate with. Even in the midst of persecution these believers experienced peace and grace of Christ. This grace was all sufficient for them. Today, if you are going through a rough time, remember, Christ has overcome the world and we have nothing to lose. Pray for His peace and grace and He will go with you through the tribulation as He promised. Praise God for our wonderful Saviour!
