"For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his soul?" - Mark 8 V36

"...Son, remember that in your lifetime you received your good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things; but now he is comforted and you are tormented." - Luke 16 V25

Most of us work very hard to earn a living and to take care of our families. There are some who work hard to become rich. The Bible reveals a spiritual truth about gaining the things of the world and losing ones soul. We may possess all the great worldly possessions but if we do not have God in our life, we are the biggest losers. God created us for His glory and we ought to do all things, including working for our livelihood, for His glory. There are many who are poor now but used their time and resources for God's glory and they will be rich in glory in the Kingdom of Christ. There are many who are rich now but will not make it to the Kingdom of Christ. Are you living for Christ, for His glory?

Praise God!

"And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work." - Jesus Christ

Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus!
