Not many are saved because the message of the cross is foolishness to the lost. For people want to be successful and live life contrary to the teaching of Christ. In Christ's kingdom the last will be first and first last. People who think highly of themselves Christ cannot use them much but those who humble themselves and serve Christ, they will be first in His kingdom. Let us take a moment and examine our status in Christ's kingdom because this is an everlasting kingdom and what we chose now will matter for all eternity. Praise God!
