The Jews who stood nearby took stones to stone Jesus because He claimed to be the I AM. By saying this Jesus made Himself equal with God and the Jews understood it pretty well. Jesus Christ is the great I AM and He revealed Himself as the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End! Come to the Lord for He is our only hope. Those who reject Him have no hope.
