"For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many." - Mark 10 V45

"(yes, a sword will pierce through your own soul also), that the thoughts of many hearts may be revealed." - Luke 2 V35

Jesus Christ's first coming was with the purpose of giving His life a ransom for the souls of many. Those who trust in Christ and receive the free gift of salvation will live with Christ forever. We celebrate Christmas and it is a joyful season, but when Simeon saw the baby Jesus, he saw the salvation of God and he prophesied the sorrow that Mary would one day witness by seeing her Son die on the cross a shameful death. Jesus came the first time to serve and to give His life a ransom for many, but He is coming again, and this time as the King of kings and the Lord of lords. This time He will subdue His enemies and establish an everlasting kingdom and His saints will rule with Him. Have you trusted the once babe in a manager who died for your sins? Have you responded to His calling? Praise the Lord!

"And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work." - Jesus Christ

Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus!
