"Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?" " - John 11 V25, 26 "The sting of death is sin, and the strength of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ." - 1 Corinthians 15 V56,57 The death of a loved one is painful and the loss is inexpressible. However, death has no power over a believer and Christ gives victory over death. While on earth, we surely will miss our loved ones who died but we will get to see and live with our loved ones in Christ for eternity. Christ gives this assurance and hope to all who believe in Him. This world and all things in it are passing away, but eternity with Christ will be new everyday. Praise the Lord! "And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work." - Jesus Christ Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus! |
