In a news channel today they showed that some archaeologists have discovered the tomb of Jesus because the casket had the name "Jesus" written on it. People over the years have tried to prove the Bible wrong and they have taken every step to deny the divine authority of Jesus. What these people do not realize is that Christianity would have crumbled in the first century itself had it not been for the empty tomb and the resurrection of our Lord. About five hundred people at a time witnessed the risen Saviour and all the eleven disciples and plus several others sacrificed their lives to prove themselves to be the faithful followers of Christ. Why would these men and women die for Christ's sake? The Bible warns us that in the last days there will be scoffers and mockers and end of these people will be eternal damnation because they try to prove the Word of God to be false and in fact they themselves are being deceived and follow the lies of Satan. Do not be deceived, but be wise and remain faithful to the Lord Jesus Christ. Praise the Lord!
