"Why do the nations rage, and the people plot a vain thing? The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel against the Lord and against His Anointed..." - Psalm 2 V1, 2

"There is no wisdom or understanding or counsel against the Lord." - Proverbs 21 V30

On the road to Damascus the Lord Jesus Christ appeared to Saul of Tarsus in a bright shining light and  told Saul, "...it is hard for you to kick against the goads". Saul got converted that very moment and later became one of the greatest apostles of Christ and he laid down his life for the cause of the gospel. These is no counsel or wisdom against the Lord and many people indeed plot a vain thing. No matter what people try under the influence of Satan, they will not succeed and the counsel of God will stand and His will shall be established. There is no point in fighting against the Lord, for it is very clear who at the end wins, but those who submit their lives to Christ and believe in Him will have the Lord on their side. Do you have the Lord on your side? Have you trusted in Him fully?

Praise be to God!

"And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work." - Jesus Christ

Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus!
