We have an adversary, the devil, who is seeking to devour the people of God. There is no messing around with the devil and the only way we can overcome is by resisting the devil with the word of God. Those who are saved by the blood of Christ are no more the slaves of sin, but at the same time in our flesh we will continue to face temptations and deception that Satan tries to entangle us with. Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you and give no room for the devil. Occupy yourself with the things of God. But if you do stumble, get up and walk again the walk of faith and again draw near to God for He will never deny you nor forsake you for this is our Lord's promise. Praise the Lord!
