"For I have come down from heaven, not to do My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me." - John 6 38

He came down from heaven for one reason, and that is to do the will of the Father. The will of the Father is that His only begotten Son should die for the sins of the world and that by believing in His Son the world may have everlasting life. Jesus was obedient to the Father even until death, and that too the death on the cross with shame and suffering. Let's also follow the example of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ and be obedient to the Father. Let us also be about our Father's business and preach the good news to a world which is in darkness of sin.
