"Therefore the Jews sought to kill him, because he not only had broken the Sabbath, but said also that God was His Father, making Himself equal with God." - John 5 V18

"I and My Father are one" - John 10 V30

The Lord Jesus made an absolute claim that He and His Father (God) are one. The Jews understood what He meant and tried to stone the Lord considering His claims to be blasphemous. Jesus told the truth and He said, he who is of the truth will hear His voice and the truth shall set Him free. Jesus also said, "I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life, no man comes come to the Father except through Me"  (John 14 V6). Many religions even today think Jesus claims to be blasphemous and reject Him or twist the truth. God saw only one way to redeem man, and that was through His Son, who became man and offered the perfect sacrifice for our sins. Receive the Saviour for He is the Truth as the Bible says. Praise the Lord!

"And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work." - Jesus Christ

Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus!
