"For He will be delivered to the Gentiles and will be mocked and insulted and spit upon." - Luke 18 V32

"who, when He was reviled, did not revile in return; when he suffered, He did not threaten, but committed Himself to Him who judges righteously." - 1 Peter 2 V23

Our natural instincts would make us revile back at an insult or attack back an attacker if we have the power to do so; however, Jesus our Lord, even after having all the power in the universe, He did not revile back at His accusers, but He bore the pain and the insults to fulfill the will of God. Let us imitate our Lord in our living and submit to the will of God in everything. Praise the Lord!

"And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work." - Jesus Christ

Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus!
