"Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion! Shout, O daughter of Jerusalem! Behold, your King is coming to you; He is just and having salvation, lowly and riding on a donkey, a colt, the foal of a donkey." - Zechariah 9 V9

"And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death on the cross." - Philippians 2 V8

Jesus Christ our Lord humbled Himself and He left His heavenly glory to take on the form of a man and die a shameful death. Before His death, He chose to enter Jerusalem on a donkey. People at that time were expecting a revolution and they thought Jesus would establish His kingdom, but they completely missed the purpose of our Lord's visitation. God has a greater plan, and God is waiting for the every sinner to repent and receive the free gift of salvation which is available only through the Lord Jesus Christ. Had Jesus Christ come as a great King, He would have had many friends, but Christ chose a humble appearance to let only the true followers follow Him. Even today people miss the purpose of Christ's visitation and they are blinded by this world. Come to the Saviour and follow Him. He invites every person to follow Him. Praise the Lord!

"And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work." - Jesus Christ

Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus!
