"But you, Bethlehem, in the land of Judah, are not the least among the rulers of Judah; for out of you shall come a Ruler who will shepherd My people Israel." - Matthew 2 V6

"But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty;" - 1 Corinthians 1 V27

In our world often the wise and the rich are respected and given importance. But God works in an opposite way, He gives grace to the humble and brings low the proud in heart. Christ chose Bethlehem to be His birth place, and He chose a manger, instead of a palace. Through Jesus Christ God demonstrated that He chooses the weak and insignificant things of the world to bring glory to His name. Even when He saved mankind, He chose the weak who realise they need a Saviour. Trust in God for your salvation and become the sheep of God and accept the free gift of salvation available only through Jesus Christ our Lord. Praise the Lord!
