"But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed." - Isaiah 53 V5

"who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we having died to sins, might live for righteousness - by whose stripes you were healed." - 1 Peter 2 V24

The Lord Jesus Christ not only suffered physical pain while dying on the cross, but He also suffered much when the sin of the world was laid upon Him. He who knew no sin was made sin for us by God. By His stripes we are healed. You are bought with a price and the Saviour of this world gave His life for you and me. He who believes in the Lord Jesus Christ will be saved from sin and death. Receive the free gift of salvation through Jesus Christ by believing on His name. Praise the Lord!
