"...If you want to be perfect, go, sell what you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me." - Matthew 19 V21

"But what things were gain to me these I have counted loss for Christ. Yet indeed I also count all things loss for the excellence of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them as rubbish, that I may gain Christ and be found in Him, not having my own righteousness, which is from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from God by faith." - Philippians 3 V7-9

Do you count all earthly things as loss for Christ? The Lord Jesus Christ asked the rich man to sell everything he had and follow Him, but the rich man could not let go His earthly possessions and he made an unwise choice to keep his riches rather than to follow Christ. As Christians, even we have to make the choice of following Christ with all our heart, living our lives for Him. The decision to follow Christ is an important one, and it means to forsake the worldly living and dedicating our lives for the glory of God. It is important for us to gain Christ and count other things as loss. Those who have gained Christ have gained eternal treasure in heaven for eternity. Praise the Lord!

"And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work." - Jesus Christ

Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus!
