"Who would form a god or mold an image that profits him nothing?" - Isaiah 44 V10

"Little children, keep yourselves from idols. Amen." - 1 John 5 V21

Two of the ten commandments given by God to us are to have no other gods before Him and to not make any graven images to represent God's glory. We may think that these commandments mean physical idols or images, but when we look at the true intent of these commandments, we can see that God means that we should worship Him alone and give Him the glory and honour in everything we do. Considering this, every person has broken the first two commandments of God and we all have fallen short of the glory of God. But God said He is merciful to those who love Him and He sent His Son to be the propitiation of our sins. Do not love the world but love the Son and our Lord, Jesus Christ. Give your heart to Him and do not let any idols occupy your heart. Praise the Lord.

"And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work." - Jesus Christ

Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus!
