"Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed." - John 8 V36

"Stand fast in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage." - Galatians 5 V1

Christ has set us free from the yoke of sin and bondage. This does not mean that we are free to live as we please, but it means we should dedicate our lives to Christ. The freedom that Christ gave us came with an incomprehensible price. Christ died for us that we may live with Him forever. Jesus said, "And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also".
