"...My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?" - Matthew 27 V46

The Lord Jesus Christ was forsaken by God, and before our Lord gave up His Spirit, He cried out to the Father. Our Lord bore the sins of the world and He bore it alone. The wrath of God was poured upon the Lord Jesus Christ and yet He humbly faced it. All this happened because God so loved the world that He let His Son suffer and be sacrificed on the cross.
