"But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed." - Isaiah 53 V5

"And He, bearing His cross, went out to a place called the Place of a Skull, which is called in Hebrew, Golgotha, where they crucified Him..." - John 19 V17, 18

Our Lord Jesus Christ was led to Golgotha to be crucified by men and He was bruised and killed for our trangressions. Jesus willingly went to the cross so you and I can have abundant eternal life. O what a Saviour, who died for the sins of His people. Praise the Lord for His great love!
