"God, who at various times and in various ways spoke in time past to the fathers by the prophets..." - Hebrews 1 V1

"Of this salvation the prophets have inquired and searched carefully, who prophesied of the grace that would come to you, searching what, or what manner of time, the Spirit of of Christ who was in them was indicating when He testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ and the glories that would follow." - 1 Peter 1 V10, 11

The holy scripture prophesied the coming of our Saviour Jesus Christ. God used the prophets to proclaim the good news of salvation and the plan of redemption He prepared for mankind. When the fullness of time had come, God sent forth His Son to fulfill the prophecies and to save mankind. The world did not appreciate the plan of salvation, but to those who believed, to them God gave the power to become sons of God. Jesus Christ is the only way to the kingdom of God. Call upon Him today, for behold, today is the day of salvation.

"And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work." - Jesus Christ

Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus!
