"It is not for you to know times or seasons which the Father has put in His own authority." - Acts 1 V7

"But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up" - 2 Peter 3 V10

It is not for us to know the day or the hour, otherwise our Lord would have told us. We have to live as if today is our last day on earth, always looking for our Redeemer. The day of our Lord's return will be sudden, when no one is expecting and those who are ready shall go with Him into the kingdom of God. By human nature, we are curious to know the date of our Lord's return, but it is just a waste of time and against God's commandment. While we are in the world let us make a difference by living out of the world, by being the salt and light of this world. Praise the Lord!
