The birth of our Lord Jesus was prophesied hundreds of years before the event and in the due time God sent His Son to save the world and to give everlasting life to all those who believe in Him. God revealed His plan of salvation through His Son Jesus Christ and to as many as received Him, to them He gave the power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name.
