"Moreover the law entered that the offense might abound. But where sin abounded, grace abounded much more," - Romans 5 V20

"even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved) and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in, Christ Jesus, that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus." - Ephesians 2 V5-7

No one can keep the law perfectly for all have sinned and broken the law of God. By keeping the law we cannot please God, but by only believing in His Son Jesus Christ and accepting the grace of God freely, can we enter the kingdom of God. We were dead in our sin but through faith in Christ we receive eternal life.
