"And keep the charge of the Lord your God; to walk in His ways, to keep His statutes, His commandments, His judgments, and His testimonies, as it is written in the law of Moses, that you may prosper in all that you do and wherever you turn." - 1 Kings 2 V3

"...that you keep His commandment without spot, blameless until our Lord Jesus Christ's appearing, which He will manifest in His own time, He who is blessed and only potentate, the King of kings and the Lord of lords" - 1 Timothy 6 V14, 15

The Lord gave us certain commandments so that our focus remains on Him and also His blessings remain with us. We are called to follow our Master and Lord Jesus Christ and we are to keep His commandment without spot, blameless until the appearing of our Lord. Praise the Lord!
