Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God, was pleasing in the eyes of the Father and was perfect without sin. God desires us to be perfect like His Son but because of our corrupt nature and wicked desires of heart, it is impossible to be perfect. There is none righteous, no not one, and no human who was born can be perfect because of our fallen nature. But now we may never comprehend the love of God in that Christ gave His life that we may stand perfect before God the Father and we will be clothed with His righteousness. As many as received the Son, have now become the children of God. Praise the Lord!
